The Highway Division Taunsa invites bids from eligible engineering firms and contractors for the rehabilitation and improvement of the metalled road from Kalma Chowk to Tameer-E-Nau (Old College Road), Taunsa, under the S.E Highway Circle DGK, for the financial year 2026-27. This project is funded from OWN SOURCE REVENUE and falls under the jurisdiction of Dera Ghazi Khan district. Items being procured: - Rehabilitation / Improvement of metalled road from Kalma chowk to Tameer-E-Nau (Old College Road), Taunsa, length = 1.40 KM, S.E Highway Circle DGK, TS No. 383D8C, Completion Period: 06 Months, Estimated Cost/Earnest Money: Rs. 34,67,600/- The technical scope includes full-scale road rehabilitation, including surface improvement, repair of damaged sections, and ensuring proper drainage and road safety features as per Punjab Highway Department standards. All intending contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and codes, and must also be registered on the Punjab PPRA e-Procurement portal. Bid Security amounting to 2% of the estimated cost must be submitted through digital online payment via the Punjab Procurement System (link with BOP) for a validity of three months beyond the completion time. No physical bid securities (CDR, Pay Order, Draft, or cheque) will be accepted. Bidding documents are to be downloaded from the Punjab PPRA website and uploaded accordingly. The deadline for submission of bids is 17.09.2026 at 11:30 AM, after which bids will be opened in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee. Only online bids submitted through the Punjab e-Procurement System will be entertained; no manual or physical bids will be accepted.
