Tender Description
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Islamabad is procuring rehabilitation and improvement works for several key roads within the city. The projects include the Srinagar Highway from Convention Center to N-5 Bridge 26 Number Chungi, Islamabad Highway from Faisal Masjid to T. Chowk, Jinnah Avenue from D-Chowk to F-11 Markaz, Khayaban-e-Suharwardy Road Serena to Zero Point, and Murree Road from Faizabad to Serena Interchange. These works are critical for enhancing traffic flow and road safety in Islamabad.
The technical scope covers extensive civil and road works including pavement rehabilitation, surface improvement, and structural upgrades. The projects vary in scale with estimated costs ranging from approximately Rs. 54 million to nearly Rs. 1.98 billion for the largest Srinagar Highway segment. Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in relevant categories CE-01 and CE-10 for the fiscal year 2026-27. Valid FBR registration and proof of experience in similar road infrastructure projects are mandatory.
Bids must be submitted electronically via the E-PADS platform at http://eprocure.gov.pk by 13th July 2026 at 10:00 am. Manual bids will not be entertained. Earnest Money in the form of Pay Order or CDR as specified must accompany the bid. The technical bids will be opened publicly on the same day at 11:00 am at the CDA Secretariat, Sector G-7/4 Islamabad. For further details, bidders can contact the Deputy Director Roads-III CDA or the office of Director P&CA-I CDA.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely registration and familiarity with the E-PADS electronic bidding system to avoid last-minute submission issues. Also, carefully prepare the bid security documents as per CDA requirements to prevent disqualification. This tender offers a significant opportunity for qualified contractors to contribute to Islamabad's urban infrastructure development.
