Rehabilitation and Improvement of Structure, Earthwork and Stone Pitching of Makai Minor, Gajji Minor and Imam Wah Ghotki Feeder Canal

The Irrigation Department, Government of Sindh, through the Executive Engineer Mirpur Division (Irrigation) Mirpur Mathelo, invites bids for the Rehabilitation and Improvement of Structure, Earthwork and Stone Pitching of Makai Minor, Gajji Minor and Imam Wah Ghotki Feeder Canal under ADP Scheme No. 1206 for the fiscal year 2026-2027. This project is located in Mirpur Mathelo, Sindh, and aims to restore the designed hydraulic capacity of the canal system to ensure equitable distribution of irrigation water to cultivators within the command area. Items being procured: - Earth work excavation in irrigation channels and drains (207,850 Cft) - Stone filling dry hand packed behind retaining walls (64,350 Cft) - Formation dressing and preparing sub-grade on slopes (111,540 Cft) - Stone pitching including sub-base with hammer dressed stone (139,425 Cft) - Jungle clearance and removal within 100 feet (2,736,000 Sft) - Plugging 3 times on 62.81 acres - Borrow pit excavation undressed lead up to 100 ft (5,996,625 Cft) - Earth work excavation in irrigation channels and drains (1,758,535 Cft) - Dressing and levelling of earth work to designed section (7,755,160 Cft) - Carriage of earth and materials by trucks (1,798,987 Cft) - Reconstruction of road bridges at RD.9.0 and RD.17.0 along Gaji Minor Lower including dismantling, excavation, centering, concrete works, brick work, reinforcement fabrication, plastering, pointing, pumping set hire, rehandling earth, and carriage of earth (two bridges) The scope includes maintenance of canal banks, re-sectioning of canal bed to designed section and capacity, and reconstruction of road bridges. The works must be completed by June 2027 as per the construction schedule. Eligibility criteria require valid registration with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in categories CE04, CE09 & CE10, active NTN and Sindh Revenue Board registration, relevant experience with at least one similar work of 80% estimated cost or two works of 50% estimated cost completed in last five years, valid ISO-45001 certification, professional tax certificate, and submission of bid security amounting to 5% of bid cost. Bidders must also submit detailed technical proposals, financial statements, and affidavits confirming no blacklisting or litigation. Bids must be submitted electronically via the e-PADs portal by 12:00 Noon on 10th September 2026. Technical bids will be opened publicly at 1:00 PM the same day at the Office of the Executive Engineer Mirpur Division (Irrigation) Mirpur Mathelo. The bid security must be in the form of a bank guarantee from a scheduled bank in Pakistan.
