Tender Description
Hazara Electric Supply Company (HAZECO) invites contractors registered with PPRA EPADS and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for rehabilitation and reconstruction works at two 132KV grid stations in Abbottabad region. The department is seeking experienced contractors for the rehabilitation work and reconstruction of tilted and fallen portions of boundary walls at 132KV Grid Station Balakot and 132KV Grid Station Oghi.

The technical scope involves civil works focused on boundary wall repair and reconstruction at the specified grid stations. Contractors must have PEC registration category C-6 & above (CE-10) and demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience with successful completion of two civil contracts of similar nature within the last five years. Financial soundness is required with certified/audited financial records for the last three years from ICAP registered firms. Bidders must be active taxpayers with FBR, KPRA, and Sale Tax registrations.
The tender follows the Single Stage One Envelope e-Bidding method via the EPADS portal. Bid security of 3% of the estimated cost is mandatory in the form of a CDR from a scheduled bank. Bids quoting 10% below the estimate must submit an additional 2% bid security. Partial or conditional bids will be rejected.
The bid closing date is 18th August 2026 with bid opening times at 11:30 and 12:30 hours respectively for the two tenders. Submission and queries are handled at the office of Project Director (GSC), HAZECO Abbottabad.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your PEC registration and financial documents are fully updated and uploaded correctly on the EPADS portal to avoid disqualification for incomplete submissions. Early submission is advised to handle any technical issues with e-bidding.
