Rehabilitation and Renovation of Quarter No. B-32 Hashimabad Colony Thatta @ Makli

The Executive Engineer Buildings Division Works & Services Department Thatta invites bids for the Rehabilitation and Renovation of Quarter No. B-32 Hashimabad Colony Thatta @ Makli. This project involves comprehensive civil works including removal of old plaster, dismantling tiles and concrete, laying new cement concrete blocks, plastering, painting, fixing aluminum channels, deodar wood joinery, flooring with glazed tiles and marble, roofing treatments, and sanitary fittings installation. The scope covers structural repairs, finishing, and installation of plumbing and sanitary fixtures to restore the quarter to functional condition. Bidders must be licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council in the appropriate category for works exceeding Rs. 2.5 million and should have relevant experience and financial capacity. The contract duration is 360 days with a bid validity of 90 days. Earnest Money in the form of a Bid Security amounting to Rs. 149,150/- or 5% of the bid price is required. Bids must be submitted to the Executive Engineer Buildings Division Thatta by 10:00 A.M on 14.05.2026 and will be opened the same day at 11:00 A.M in the presence of bidders or their representatives. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all bid documents are complete and signed, including the Integrity Pact for contracts exceeding Rs. 10 million, and to carefully prepare the Technical Bid with all required evidence of eligibility, including PEC registration and past experience. Early acquisition of bidding documents and timely submission will avoid disqualification. The Procuring Agency reserves the right to annul the bidding process as per SPP Rules.
