Tender Description
The Public Health Engineering Division Jamshoro invites bids for the Rehabilitation and Repair of Proposed Filter Plants at Taluka Sehwan District Jamshoro and multiple Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants across various locations in Sindh province. This comprehensive procurement covers the supply, installation, repair, and maintenance of water filtration and treatment plants, including RO systems, pumping machinery, tube wells, solar power systems, and associated civil and electrical works.
Items being procured:
- Rehabilitation and repair of filter plants at Taluka Sehwan
- Replacement of RO and UF membranes
- Supply and installation of RO plants (5000 GPD capacity) at multiple villages
- Pumping machinery including submersible pumps and high-pressure pumps
- Tube well drilling and development
- Solar power systems including solar panels and VFD drives
- Civil works including construction of pump rooms, laying of pipes, and structural repairs
- Electrical works including repair of electric panels, wiring, and installation of control units
- Routine and non-routine maintenance including chemical dosing, filter replacements, and generator repairs
The technical scope includes installation of high-quality membranes from reputed manufacturers such as Filmtec, Toray, Pall UK, and others, along with associated equipment like UV sterilizers, pressure sand filters, carbon filters, dosing pumps, and flow meters. The project also involves civil construction, electrical wiring, and solar power integration to ensure sustainable operation.
Eligibility criteria require contractors to be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in relevant categories with valid licenses, demonstrate experience in similar works, and possess active tax registration with FBR and Sindh Revenue Board. Bidders must submit bid security of 5% of the estimated cost and comply with all bidding instructions including electronic submission via EPADS portal.
