Rehabilitation of Tower/Poles of 132KV Transmission Line Bagh to Hattian Locations 02, 03 & 18 in River Zone Affected by Rainfall Under GSO Network Upgradation

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the rehabilitation of tower/poles of the 132KV transmission line from Bagh to Hattian at locations 02, 03 & 18. This work is located within the river zone affected by heavy rainfall and is part of the upgradation of the GSO network. The procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 with an estimated cost of **Rs. 4,607,115/- including FST**. Items being procured: - Excavation in shingle or gravel formation and rock not required, 72 Cum - Cement concrete plain including placing, compacting, finishing and curing, 6.221 Cum - Supplying and fabrication of intermediate grade deformed reinforcement, 176.447 Kg - Reinforced cement concrete work (in-situ roof slabs, beams, columns, rafts, lintels), quantity as per contract - Refilling excavated stuff in trenches in 150mm layers with watering and compaction, 2.262 Cum - Coursed rubble masonry including hammer dressing in cement sand mortar ratio 1:4, 38.484 Cum - Dumping shingle spawls and boulders including carriage within 90 m, 27 Cum The scope includes remedial measures and retrofitting design for protection and rehabilitation of the specified towers and poles affected by rainfall. The technical scope covers excavation, concrete works, reinforcement fabrication, masonry, and refilling as per detailed specifications. Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the year 2026-27 with Category C-6 specialization codes CE-2, CE-10 & EE-05 and have valid registration with the relevant provincial revenue authority for sales tax on services or Islamabad Capital Territory as applicable. Experience requirements include at least 10 years in construction of 132KV or higher voltage transmission lines, including survey, tower stacking, pile foundation construction, erection, stringing, testing, and commissioning. Joint ventures are allowed with up to two members, and all members must comply with PEC and FBR registration requirements.
