Tender Description
The National Grid Company (NGC) of Pakistan Limited invites bids for the Rehabilitation Works of 220kV Double Circuit Single Conductor Sibbi–Quetta Transmission Line, approximately 3 kilometers in length, located in the province of Punjab, city of Lahore. This project involves dismantling existing towers and conductors, construction of reinforced concrete pile foundations, erection of new steel towers, and re-stringing of conductors and OPGW. The scope includes detailed survey, soil investigation, preparation of plan and profile drawings, tower staking, and installation of all associated hardware and accessories. The project requires licensed contractors with PEC category C-3 or above, active taxpayer status, and proven experience in similar transmission line rehabilitation works. Bidders must submit a comprehensive technical proposal including construction schedule, method statements, and equipment lists. The bid submission deadline is set for 30th June 2026 at 11:00 am, with bids to be submitted electronically via e-PADS and original bid security to be delivered to the Chief Engineer (MP&M) NGC office in Lahore. The estimated cost of the project is PKR 117 million. Bidders are advised to carefully review the tender documents, attend the pre-bid meeting scheduled on 18th June 2026 at 11:00 am in Lahore, and ensure compliance with all eligibility and qualification criteria. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely submission of original bid security in hard copy before the closing deadline to avoid disqualification. This tender offers a significant opportunity for qualified contractors to contribute to the strengthening of Pakistan's power transmission infrastructure under the supervision of the National Grid Company.
