Relocation of Tower No. 16 of 220KV Double Circuit Twin Bundled Transmission Line at Deri Zhardad, District Charsada

The National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited (NGC) invites bids for the relocation of Tower No. 16 (Type: EA) of the 220KV double circuit (Nowshera – Mardan & Chakdara – Shahibagh) twin bundled transmission line at Deri Zhardad, District Charsada. This tender is issued by the TL M Division NGC Peshawar and funded through NGC's own resources. Items being procured: - Construction of new pile foundation - Dismantling of existing tower, conductor and allied hardware - Transportation and erection of new tower, welding of tower bolts and nuts - Stringing of ACSR Rail conductor and OPGW Shield wire over 0.7 Km span The technical scope includes civil and electrical works involving foundation construction, dismantling and erection of transmission towers, conductor stringing, and welding activities. The site is located in Charsada district, requiring experienced contractors with PEC registration in the relevant category. Bidders must be licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council and comply with PPRA rules. FBR and ATL registration are also mandatory. Bids must be submitted electronically via the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (E-PADS) V2.0 by 20-08-2026 at 11:00 a.m. The technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 a.m. through E-PADS in the presence of bidders. A refundable bid security of not less than 2% of the estimated amount in PKR is required in the form of CDR or bank guarantee from a scheduled bank in Pakistan, valid for 28 days beyond the bid validity period. Interested bidders can obtain further information from the office of Senior Manager TL M Division NGC, 500kV Grid Station Sheikh Muhammadi, Badaber, Peshawar. No bids other than through E-PADS will be accepted. If a public holiday falls on the tender opening date, the tender will be opened on the next working day. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your bid security instrument is valid beyond the required period and submitted in original to the Senior Manager's office before the deadline to avoid disqualification. Also, familiarize yourself with the E-PADS system well in advance to prevent last-minute technical issues.
