Tender Description
The Directorate General Immigration and Passports (DGIP), Islamabad, under the Ministry of Interior, Government of Pakistan, is procuring the renewal of licenses and a Service Level Agreement (SLA) for Fortinet Core Devices installed at DGIP Headquarters in Islamabad for a period of three years. This procurement is specific to the DGIP HQ located in Sector G-8/1, Mauve Area, Islamabad.
The scope includes renewal of licenses and comprehensive on-site support services such as troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, firmware and software updates, security patching, and technical assistance to ensure uninterrupted operation of Fortinet Core Devices. The vendor must provide 24/7/365 on-site support, timely replacement of parts at no extra cost, quarterly preventive maintenance visits, and maintain the equipment in optimal working condition throughout the contract period. Documentation including service reports, incident logs, and technical support details must be maintained.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and appear on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). They must have a minimum of five years experience supplying related IT products, with at least three similar assignments completed for government or semi-government entities. Required documents include company profile, NTN/ATL/GST certificates, Chamber of Commerce membership, SECP registration, client lists, equipment brochures, and performance certificates. A bid security of Rs. 1,097,600 must be submitted physically before the bid submission deadline.
Bids must be submitted electronically through the PPRA e-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (EPADS) with one hard copy of the technical proposal and original bid security delivered physically to DGIP HQ. The deadline for submission is on or before 3:00 PM on May 20, 2026, with bid opening at 3:30 PM the same day. The evaluation will be based on technical compliance followed by financial proposals of technically qualified bidders.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all mandatory eligibility documents are complete and properly signed and stamped, as any missing document will lead to disqualification. Also, timely submission of the original bid security physically is critical to avoid rejection. This tender offers a significant opportunity for IT service providers with expertise in Fortinet equipment to secure a multi-year contract with a key government department in Islamabad.
