Tender Description
The Pakistan Navy Dockyard Karachi invites qualified firms for renovation and uplift work at PNS Gwadar. This tender is issued by the General Manager ME (SUR) at PN Dockyard Karachi. The scope includes renovation of multiple areas with marine standards compliance.
Items being procured:
- Renovation of CO Cabin: Renewal of Aluminum Ceiling, Stainless Steel Paneling, Refurbishment of flooring, Replacement of electrical accessories, Upholstery of chairs and sofa, Installation of Stainless Steel Straight Golden Step.
- Renovation of Wardroom, Officer Cabins & Alleyways: Renewal of Aluminum Ceiling, Stainless Steel Paneling, Refurbishment of flooring, Replacement of electrical accessories, Upholstery of chairs and sofa, Installation of Stainless Steel Golden Angle, Refurbishment of media wall, Doors repair work.
- Renovation of CPOS/POs and Junior Rate Lounge: Renewal of Aluminum Ceiling, Stainless Steel Paneling, Refurbishment of flooring, Replacement of electrical accessories, Upholstery of chairs and sofa.
The technical scope covers aluminum ceiling works, stainless steel paneling and installations, flooring refurbishment, electrical accessory replacement, upholstery, and door repairs. The work is to be executed at the Pakistan Navy Dockyard Karachi with strict adherence to marine standards.
Eligible bidders must be GST registered firms with NTN and GST certificates. ISO 9001-2015 certification is preferred. Offers will be evaluated on experience, competitive cost, and minimum completion time. The validity of the offer must be at least six months. One year warranty/guarantee after satisfactory completion is mandatory. Payment will be made after final acceptance trials.
Tender documents can be purchased from GM (ME SUR) office at PN Dockyard Karachi during 0900 to 1400 hrs upon payment of Rs. 5000 tender fee. Technical and commercial offers must be submitted separately in sealed envelopes by 1130 hours on 15 July 2026. Tender opening will be at 1200 hours the same day.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure all required certificates including NTN, GST, and ISO are complete and attached. Submit technical and financial bids in separate sealed envelopes clearly marked to avoid disqualification. Timely submission before the deadline is critical to avoid rejection.
