Tender Description
The Special Protection Unit Gilgit-Baltistan invites sealed bids for the repair, maintenance, and supply of spare parts for government vehicles including four and two wheelers for the financial year 2026-2027. This tender is a re-invitation after the previous process on 12.08.2026 was unsuccessful due to all bidders failing technical evaluation.

- Repair and maintenance services for government vehicles
- Supply of spare parts for four wheelers
- Supply of spare parts for two wheelers
The scope includes comprehensive repair and maintenance work along with the provision of genuine spare parts for SPU GB vehicles. Bidders must be financially sound, registered with Sales Tax and Income Tax Departments, and have prior relevant experience. The bidding process follows the Gilgit Baltistan Public Procurement Rules (GB PPRA) 2022.
Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes under the Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure, containing separate Technical and Financial Proposals. Technical proposals should include bidding documents, earnest money, and tax certificates. Financial proposals must quote rates inclusive of all taxes and duties on the firm's letterhead.
An earnest money Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) of Rs. 500,000 (Rupees Five Lac only) from a scheduled bank in the name of SP SPU GB is mandatory. Bids without CDR will be rejected. Tender documents can be obtained from the SPU office in Sakwar Gilgit upon submission of Rs. 6,000 (Rupees Six Thousand only) to the MT Branch SPU GB.
The last date for bid submission is 07.09.2026 at 12:00 PM, with technical bids opening at 12:30 PM the same day at the SPU office Sakwar Gilgit. Bidders or their authorized representatives are encouraged to attend the opening. The tender notice is also available on the PPRA website (www.ppra.gov.pk).
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your financial proposal is fully compliant with the tax and duty requirements and submitted on official letterhead to avoid disqualification during evaluation.
