Repair and Maintenance of Street Light System and Painting of High Mass Poles in TMC Saddar Karachi

The Town Municipal Corporation Saddar Karachi is procuring repair and maintenance services for the street light system and painting of high mass poles in the surrounding area of Mohatta Palace, Abdullah Haroon Road, and club road of TMC Saddar. This procurement is specifically for Karachi under the M&E Department of TMC Saddar. The technical scope includes providing and laying PVC sheeted copper conductor wiring, fixing MS tabular poles buried in the ground, installation and fixing of street lights of various wattages (250 watts SON-T lamps), manufacturing and fixing GI single arm double arch poles, fixing holders for lights, magnetic contactors, circuit breakers, photo cells, and ABC cable connectors. The work involves detailed electrical and civil works including excavation, plastering, and painting with rust preventive coatings. Eligible bidders must have a valid NTN certificate, PEC category relevant to electrical and mechanical works, registration with Sindh Revenue Board, and a professional tax certificate. Experience of at least 5 years with work orders and completion certificates of similar nature is required. The firm must not be blacklisted and must provide documentary proof of ownership of machinery and equipment. The bidding documents will be available from 2026-06-05 to 2026-06-19 and bids must be submitted by 2026-07-08 at 2:00 PM via the EPADS website. The tender opening will be held on the same day at 2:30 PM in the office of the Superintending Engineer, TMC Saddar Karachi. The earnest money deposit is 5% of the quoted amount and the tender cost is Rs. 3,000. The bid security must be submitted in the form of pay order or bank draft.
