Tender Description
The Military Engineering Services (MES) invites qualified contractors and firms for a comprehensive range of repair, maintenance, and upgradation works at Multan Cantt. The scope includes electrical, gas, water supply, sewerage, road works, POL bulk installations, transformer repairs, HVAC, water filtration plants, and related civil works. Specific tasks cover TC B&R and E&M works, minor and major repairs, abnormal repairs, reconstruction, re-carpeting of roads and footpaths, bazar supply items, and sewerage line re-routing.
Contractors must be on the approved MES list or have relevant government department experience with valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration, FBR/ATL registration, GST, NTN certificates, and a proven track record of similar works in the last two years. Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) equal to 2% of the estimated cost is required from contractors not on the MES approved list. This amount is refundable upon pre-qualification or contract award.
The tender submission deadline is **04 May 2026 at 11:30 hrs**, with bid opening at 12:00 hrs the same day. Applications must be delivered to the GE (A) Services Multan Cantt office. Technical and financial bids should be prepared carefully, ensuring all required documentation and certificates are included. Contractors must also provide a certificate confirming no litigation or adverse reports from the Directorate of Inspection and Evaluation.
A practical tip for bidders is to thoroughly review the un-priced abstracts and specifications available at the MES office during working hours to prepare a competitive and compliant bid. Early preparation of the Earnest Money Deposit and ensuring all registrations are current will help avoid disqualification.
