Repair and Renovation of Boys Hostels and External Development Work at University of Sindh Jamshoro

The University of Sindh, Jamshoro, invites eligible contractors and firms to participate in tenders for the rehabilitation and renovation of student facilities and other infrastructure under the Government of Sindh approved scheme titled 'Rehabilitation of Students Facilities & Other Infrastructure Facilities of University of Sindh, Jamshoro' for the fiscal year 2025-26. Items being procured: - Repair and Renovation of Federal Boys Hostel, Lal Shahbaz Boys Hostel and Allama Iqbal Boys Hostel at University of Sindh, Jamshoro - Repair and Renovation of Marvi Girls Hostel Block-A, B and C including External Development Work The scope includes comprehensive repair and renovation works of the boys and girls hostels along with external development works at the University of Sindh campus in Jamshoro. The works require contractors with relevant PEC registration, valid FBR and Sindh Revenue Board active tax registrations, and an electrical license for the Hyderabad region. Bidders must not be blacklisted by any procuring agency or on the SPPRA website. The tender follows a Single Stage Two Envelope procurement method. Earnest money at 5% of the estimated cost is required. The completion time for both works is 6 months. Tender fees are Rs. 5000 for each work. Bidders should have at least 5 years of experience in similar works in higher education institutions or large public sector organizations. Annual turnover requirements are Rs. 155 million for the first work and Rs. 80 million for the second, verified by bank statements. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority's EPADS portal by 03-09-2026 up to 10:30 AM for the first work and 11:00 AM for the second. Technical proposals must be submitted in hard copy at the time of bid opening. Late or manual bids will not be accepted. The University reserves the right to reject any or all bids as per SPP Rules 2010 (amended). A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all registration documents and licenses are up to date and to prepare competitive but feasible rates, as abnormal rates will not be considered. Also, carefully follow the EPADS submission process to avoid disqualification.
