Repair of Transport (Vehicles & Motorcycles)

The Gilgit Baltistan Secretariat Social Welfare, Population Welfare, Women Development, Human/Child Rights and Youth Affairs Department invites sealed tenders from registered contractors and suppliers for the repair of transport including vehicles and motorcycles for the financial year 2026-27 in Gilgit. Items being procured: - Repair of Transport (Vehicles & Motorcycles) The tender documents can be obtained from the office of the undersigned during office hours. Bidders must submit their tenders on or before the deadline of 7th September 2026 at 11:00 AM. The tenders will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of contractors, bidders, or their authorized representatives. The procurement follows the Single Stage One Envelope procedure as per GB PPR 2022 clause 39 (a). Earnest money of 2% of the total quoted bid must be attached in the form of Demand Draft or Pay Order in favor of DDO/Deputy Secretary, Social Sector Development Secretariat, Gilgit Baltistan. Bids without earnest money or with incomplete documents will be rejected. All rates must be quoted in typing and must include all applicable taxes. The contractor must have their own shop or workshop within the municipal limits of Gilgit town and must supply genuine parts only. The procuring agency reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning any reason. The department will open the tender on the next working day if the deadline falls on a public holiday. Failure to sign the contract agreement within the stipulated period will result in cancellation of the award and forfeiture of the earnest money/security deposit. Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their bids with complete and correct documentation and ensure timely submission. It is practical to visit the site and understand the scope of repair work before bidding to avoid any discrepancies or misunderstandings during execution.
