Tender Description
Punjab Irrigation Department invites e-bids for the repairing and strengthening of the eroded bank of HML RD 78-79/R in the FMD Section, District Jhang. This procurement is being conducted under the single stage single envelope procedure through open competitive bidding, as per the Punjab PPRA e-Tendering System. The work is sanctioned under Estimate Sanction No.2373/25-W dated 05.08.2026, with an estimated cost of Rs. 573,055. The completion period for the project is from 15-10-2026, and the bid submission deadline is 27.08.2026 at 1:00 PM, with bid opening at 1:30 PM on the same day.

The technical scope includes civil works for the restoration and reinforcement of the canal bank, requiring contractors licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant CE-04 category. Only firms/JV partners with valid PEC registration for the year 2026-27 and enlistment on the Punjab e-Procurement System are eligible. Bidders must also provide professional tax receipts, CNIC, and PRA registration for the year 2026-27. Earnest Money/Bid Security of 4% of the estimated cost (Rs. 22,925) must be deposited via PSID generated by the Punjab e-Procurement System before the deadline. Manual bids or late submissions will not be entertained.
All bidding documents and detailed specifications are available online for registered bidders. The lowest bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Guarantee at 10% of the bid amount. The successful bidder must mobilize to the site within 7 days of acceptance letter issuance. Bids must be submitted electronically via the Punjab e-Procurement System, and all queries should be resolved before submission.
