Tender Description
The Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (M&P/TECHNICAL) invites sealed bids for the replacement of two fresh air unit (FCU-02) cabins/casings and two stairwell pressurization fan cabins/casings installed at the rooftop of the PNSC Building in Karachi. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 platform. Items being procured:
- Fabrication and replacement of 02 Nos. double skin fresh air units (FCU-02) cabin/casing installed at rooftop of PNSC Building
- Fabrication and replacement of 02 Nos. double skin stairwell pressurization fan cabin/casing installed at rooftop of PNSC Building
The scope includes dismantling of existing units, removal of fan and motor, fabrication of new cabins/casings as per existing dimensions, transportation to site, re-installation, testing, and commissioning. The cabins feature heavy duty MS frames with 4" box sections, 25 mm thick double skin panels with 22 gauge GI inner sheets and 24 gauge pre-painted outer sheets, 25 mm high density PU insulation, MS powder coated louvers, complete internal epoxy coating, and color coated exterior panels with red oxide and enamel coating on frames.
Eligible bidders must have at least one year of experience in similar works, be registered on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of FBR, and not be blacklisted. Bid security in the form of a pay order or bid securing declaration is required. The bidding documents are available on EPADS and bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM. Manual bids will not be accepted.
The contract will be awarded based on Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS). Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents and ensure timely submission through EPADS. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning any reason.
