Replacement and Installation of Lifts in Emergency and Gynea Block of Services Hospital Lahore

The Communication and Works Department, 1st Buildings Division Lahore, is procuring replacement and installation works for lifts at the Emergency and Gynea Block of Services Hospital Lahore. This tender is specifically for the provision of 2 No. Bed Lifts with 1600-Kg capacity and 1 No. Passenger Lift with 1000-Kg capacity. Items being procured: - 2 No. Bed Lifts (1600-Kg Capacity) - 1 No. Passenger Lift (1000-Kg Capacity) The procurement is based on approved DMT rates and requires contractors/firms enlisted or renewed with PEC for the financial year 2006-27 under the relevant category and specialization code MECO. Only authorized dealers and distributors in Pakistan for known international brands such as Mitsubishi (Japan), Schindler (Spain), Doppler (Greece/Western Europe), Sodimas (France/Western Europe), OTS (USA), Orona (Spain), MEM (Spain), Depress (UK), LGV (Italy), Kone (Finland), and Thyson (Germany) or equivalent manufacturers are eligible. Original reports and dealership certificates authenticated by the respective embassies must be provided. The tender process is conducted through the Punjab e-Procurement System, and all interested bidders must register on the platform to participate. Earnest money of 5% of the estimated cost must be submitted in the form of CDR/Bank draft/Cashier’s cheque from any scheduled bank. The contractor must also produce the original 5% CDR/Bank draft/Cashier’s cheque at the time of opening the technical bid. Conditional tenders or those without earnest money will be rejected. The technical bids will be opened online on 12-08-2006 at 11:30 AM, followed by the opening of financial bids after four days of technical evaluation. Manual bids are not accepted. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids prior to acceptance without justification. Bidders should ensure timely registration on the Punjab e-Procurement System and prepare all required documentation, including PEC license, dealership certificates, and earnest money instruments, to avoid disqualification. The submission deadline is strictly enforced, so early submission is advised to handle any technical issues.
