Safe handling, erection and shifting of HT/LT PCC and spun poles at Dera Ghaz Khan

Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO) invites sealed tenders from prequalified and enlisted approved contractors for the execution of electrical works under the jurisdiction of (OP) Division MEPCO Dera Ghaz Khan. The procurement is specifically for the safe handling, erection, and shifting of HT/LT PCC and spun poles of sizes 31', 36', 40', 45' & 58' from the Pole Plant / Regional Store to the site of work for new connections in Dera Ghaz Khan excluding Fort Manro area. Items being procured: - Safe handling of HT/LT PCC poles - Erection of HT/LT PCC poles - Shifting of HT/LT PCC poles - Spun poles of 31', 36', 40', 45' & 58' sizes The scope involves careful transportation and installation of electrical poles ensuring compliance with WAPDA/PPMC/DISCOs/NTDC/MEPCO guidelines, SDI, SOP, and design specifications. Contractors must have valid PEC licenses with special codes EE-04, EE-05, or EE-06 renewed for the year 2026-27. The work will be supervised by the Executive Engineer (Operation) MEPCO Division Dera Ghaz Khan. Eligibility criteria include registration with Pakistan Engineering Council under category C-6 with the specified specialization codes, valid FBR/ATL registration, and a clean performance record without blacklisting or debarment. Contractors must provide original and attested copies of CNICs and other required documents. The contract period is one year from the date of agreement, with possible extensions as per MEPCO requirements. Earnest money in the form of CDR amounting to 2% of the bid must accompany each tender. A 10% performance bond/security is also required from the successful bidder. Tender documents will be available until 01.09.2026 during office hours. Submission deadline is 02.09.2026 up to 12:00 PM, with opening at 12:30 PM the same day at the Executive Engineer's office. Electronic bids are not permitted.
