Tender Description
Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) invites bids for the sale of old unserviceable power transformers located at various grid stations in Sukkur. This procurement is managed by the Chief Engineer (Development) Project Management Unit at SEPCO's office in Sukkur. The transformers are offered on an as-is where-is basis from multiple locations including 66kV Grid Stations Nara-I and Nara-II, 132kV Grid Stations Rohri, Kotdiji, Daharki, and Rasoolabad. Interested bidders may inspect the items during office hours from 10-06-2026 to 29-06-2026. The scope includes lifting and removal of the transformers with all associated costs such as weightment, counting, measuring, loading, labor, and transport charges borne by the bidder. Bidders must be registered taxpayers with valid CNIC, NTN, and if available, STRN. The tender requires submission of earnest money in the form of CDR, bank guarantee, or pay order valid for 120 days in favor of the Chief Engineer (Dev.) PMU SEPCO Sukkur. Bids must be submitted electronically via E-PADS only; hard copy submissions will be rejected. The bid validity period is 90 calendar days from the date of bid opening scheduled for 30-06-2026 at 11:00 hours. The successful bidder will be responsible for lifting the awarded items within 21 working days of release order issuance. SEPCO reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning reasons. Bidders are advised to carefully review the detailed terms and conditions available on the PPRA website and ensure compliance with all requirements including submission of a non-judicial stamp paper undertaking. A practical tip for bidders is to physically inspect the transformers at the designated stores before bidding to assess condition and quantity, as no claims will be entertained post-award. This tender offers a valuable opportunity for firms experienced in handling electrical scrap materials and disposal to participate in a transparent and regulated procurement process under SEPCO and PPRA rules.
