Seepage Treatment of Washrooms and Repair of Ramp at BUDC&H Building Karachi

The P&D Directorate of Bahria University Islamabad invites sealed bids through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) for the procurement of civil works titled SEEPAGE TREATMENT OF WASHROOMS AND REPAIR OF RAMP AT BUDC&H BUILDING KARACHI. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be executed under a National Single Stage-Two Envelope bidding procedure using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Items being procured: - Removing, refixing and realigning 44 European Water Closets (WCs) from Ground Floor to Fourth Floor - Removing, refixing and realigning 26 Wash Basins including pedestal stands - Demolishing existing bathroom floor tiles and PCC, removing wall tiles, dismantling plumbing pipes (3600 SFT) - Providing and laying underfloor stone chips filling/plaster (3600 SFT) - Providing and laying Plain Cement Concrete (PCC) underfloor (950 CFT) - Providing and fixing glazed ceramic wall and floor tiles (3600 SFT) - Providing and fixing PPR pipes of various diameters (25mm, 32mm, 40mm, 63mm) - Providing and fixing gate valves (various sizes) - Providing and fixing uPVC pipes of various diameters (2", 3", 4", 6") - Providing and fixing Tee Stop Cocks, Muslim Showers, Squatting pans, Floor Traps - Providing and fixing gypsum false ceiling (150 SFT) - Chipping and plastering defective plaster (600 SFT) - Masonry and finishing works including concrete block masonry, white cement with stone chips, graphite/rakhwal work - Repair work of ramp including chipping, epoxy mortar application, epoxy primer coat, and epoxy anti-skid coating (2200 SFT) The scope includes all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and finishing works as per specifications and drawings. All materials must be brand new and approved quality. The contractor is responsible for proper execution, curing, testing, and making good any damages during the work. Eligibility requires valid PEC registration (C-6 category or above) with at least 5 years experience, FBR registration, and submission of bid security of Rs. 291,313 in the form of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR). Bids must be submitted online on EPADS v2.0 by 01 September 2026 at 11:00 AM. Hard copies of bid security and required documents must be submitted to the P&D office, Bahria University Islamabad before the deadline. Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM. The contract duration is 75 days from award. Payment terms include running payments with minimum IPC of Rs. 2 million and final payment after acceptance certificate. Liquidated damages of 1% per day up to 10 days apply for delays. Defect liability period is one year. Bidders are advised to visit the site before submission. Registration on EPADS v2.0 is mandatory.
