Tender Description
The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) is procuring works for the shifting of 132 kV Double Circuit Transmission Line (1.8 km) from Sangjani-II (B-17) to NIIA and 132 kV Tarnol to F-11 Circuits at Fazia Housing Scheme between location No. 53 to 59. This project is based in Islamabad Capital Territory and is planned for the financial year 2026-27 under contract reference P30314.
Items being procured:
- RCC Foundation Pile Foundations of Poles (40 m and 173.1 m bored RCC piles)
- Supplying and fabrication of intermediate grade deformed reinforcement for RCC piles (40,619.3 kg)
- Reinforced cement concrete work using coarse sand (110.2 cum)
- Fixing in position of foundation bolts (280 Nos.)
- Erection of Steel Tubular Poles including SPA, SPD, and SPG poles (total 13 Nos.)
- Stringing of Conductor, Shield wire and installation of insulators, fittings & dampers (1.8 km)
- Environmental Management & Monitoring Plan activities including water, air, noise quality monitoring, site restoration, and provision of PPEs
- Dismantling charges of existing poles, towers, conductors and fabrication/manufacturing of anchor bolts & templates
The technical scope includes construction of RCC pile foundations, erection of steel tubular poles, stringing of conductors and shield wires, dismantling of existing infrastructure, and implementation of environmental mitigation measures. The site is located at Fazia Housing Scheme, Islamabad, and the contract duration is 120 days after signing.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to have Pakistan Engineering Council registration for 2025-26 with Category C-5 and specialization codes CE-02, CE-10, EE-05, along with valid tax registrations. Bidders must demonstrate experience in construction of 132 kV or higher voltage transmission lines, including survey, tower stacking, pile foundation construction, erection, stringing, testing, and commissioning. Joint ventures are allowed with up to two members. Financial capacity requirements include an average annual turnover of Rs. 66 million and net worth of Rs. 33 million.
The bid submission deadline is **August 4, 2026, 11:00 AM** through EPADS v2.0 only. Manual submissions are not accepted. Bidders must submit bid security in the form of Call Deposit, Bank Guarantee, or Demand Draft. The technical bid must score at least 85 marks out of 100 to qualify. The contract will be awarded based on Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS).
