Tender Description
The Chief Engineer (Technical) of Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) invites bids for the comprehensive shifting and replacement of single phase and three phase energy meters within the QESCO Sibi Circle, Balochistan. This procurement is specifically for the financial year 2025-26 and covers multiple locations including 11 KV Sibbi City, Saalim Shah Bukhari, 11 KV Bhag City, 11 KV Dhadar City, 11 KV Dera Express, 11 KV Usta Muhammad City, 11 KV Turkish Colony, and 11 KV Khairpur Feeders.
The technical scope includes installation, fixing, and welding of cast iron frames weighing between 2.5 to 3 kg with anti-rust paint on poles for anti-theft securing of energy meters. It also involves shifting, screening, and replacement of old sluggish energy meters with new ones, and provision of cables as per NTDC standard design and specifications. The quantities involved are substantial, with 3707 frames to be installed, 14827 meters to be shifted or replaced, and 74135 meters of cable to be provided.
Eligible bidders must hold valid PEC registrations in categories CI, C3, and EE-04 for the financial year 2025-26, be registered with FBR and on the Active Taxpayers List, and have verifiable experience executing similar projects with at least one distribution company. Bidders must submit performance certificates as documentary evidence.
The bid submission deadline is **Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 10:00 AM** via the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 platform. Manual submissions will not be entertained.
