Tender Description
The National Logistics Cell (NLC) invites sealed bids from OEM authorized dealers registered with AEDB and holding PEC category C-1 and C-2 for the supply, installation, and net metering of a 1 MW Solar System at NLC Log Parks located in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi. This procurement is aimed at enhancing renewable energy infrastructure across multiple key cities, focusing on sustainable power solutions.
The technical scope includes the complete supply of solar equipment, installation at designated log park sites, and integration with net metering systems to ensure efficient energy management. Bidders must be well-versed in solar technology and capable of delivering turnkey solutions compliant with AEDB and PEC standards.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to have valid registration with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Active Taxpayer List (ATL) status. Experience in similar scale solar projects and possession of PEC categories C-1 and C-2 are mandatory. The tender fee is Rs 2,000, and a bid security of Rs 10,000,000 must accompany the technical offer, failing which bids will be rejected.
The tender submission deadline is **13 July 2026 by 1100 hours** at the NLC Head Office, Harding Road, Rawalpindi. Bids will be opened the same day at 1130 hours. Two pre-bid meetings are scheduled at the NLC HQ Conference Room on 3 and 8 July 2026 at 1100 hours to clarify queries and discuss bidding documents.
A practical tip for bidders is to attend the pre-bid meetings to gain clarity on technical and procedural requirements, which can significantly improve the quality and compliance of the bid. Ensuring all documentation, including earnest money and technical details, is complete and submitted on time will avoid disqualification.
