The tender includes special repair works for Bridge No. 300-Q located at Km No. 357/12-13 between SZD-KLR stations, as well as the procurement and supply of painting materials for major bridges along the same route. This procurement is essential to maintain the structural integrity and safety of railway bridges in Balochistan, ensuring uninterrupted rail services. The technical scope covers civil repair works on the bridge and supply of high-quality painting materials suitable for bridge maintenance. The works are to be executed under Pakistan Railways Composite Schedule of Rates, with a completion period of two months for each package. Bidders must hold a valid license with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in CE-02 or CE-10 categories and be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) with an active ATL status. Firms should have relevant experience in bridge repair and maintenance projects. Tender documents can be obtained free of cost from the e-procurement portal. Bids must be submitted electronically through the E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (E-PADS) by 07 July 2026 at 12:00 hours. Earnest money in the form of CDR/Pay order is mandatory and must be submitted in the name of DAO/P.R Quetta. Original bid security and hard copies of bidding documents are to be submitted to the office of Divisional Engineer-II, Pakistan Railways Quetta (Work Accounts Branch). A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all bid documents, including scanned copies of bid security and technical bids, are uploaded correctly on the E-PADS portal before the deadline. Late or incomplete submissions will be rejected. Also, maintaining compliance with PEC and FBR requirements will avoid disqualification during technical evaluation.
