Special Repair and Painting Works Including Water Supply Pipeline at Pakistan Railways Rawalpindi

Pakistan Railways Rawalpindi invites bids from approved contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) with relevant civil and electrical specialization codes and active on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of FBR. The procurement is for various repair and maintenance works under the Pakistan Railway Composite Schedule of Rates 2016 (Rawalpindi Division) on a through rates basis. Items being procured: - Special repair to boundary wall of Loco Shed at Rawalpindi - Painting of Major Bridge No.44 on Rawalpindi-Golra Section - Procurement of paint material for painting of bridges on Golra-Bosal Section and Platform Shelter at Tarnol Railway Station - Special Repair Group Works in the section of Inspector of Works (IOWs-I & II) Rawalpindi (Quarters No.406-B, 182-B, 400-A, 59-A, 150/A-B, 395-B, 299-A, 712-C, 592/10 units & Sewerage system of Block No.267/A & 267/Outhouses) - Special repair Group-B Works in the section of Inspector of Works (IOWs-I & II) Rawalpindi (Sewerage system in Saddar Colony; outhouse of bungalow No 2/4B, Quarter No 622-H, Quarter No 151/A-B & Quarters No.719-5) - Laying water supply pipeline from pump near house No.224 to existing water storage near office of IOW-II Rawalpindi - Special repair & termite proofing at Railway Rest House Islam Abad - Providing new tubewell in lieu of an existing failed tubewell at Loco colony Rawalpindi - Providing new tubewell in lieu of an existing failed tubewell at Traffic Loco colony Rawalpindi These works cover civil repairs, painting, water supply pipeline laying, termite proofing, and sewerage system maintenance at various Pakistan Railways facilities in Rawalpindi. Contractors must submit bids through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 using the single stage two envelope procedure as per PPRA rules. Eligibility requires PEC registration with relevant codes, ATL status, and submission of bid security in the form of CDR or Bank Guarantee. Bidders must also provide scanned copies of CNIC and valid licenses. The bid submission deadline is Monday, October 12, 2026, till 12:00 PM at the office of the Divisional Accounts Officer, Pakistan Railways Rawalpindi. Bids will be opened the same day at 12:30 PM in the presence of bidders' representatives. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your bid security and all supporting documents are complete and uploaded correctly on EPADS v2.0 to avoid disqualification. Late or incomplete bids will not be entertained.
