Tender Description
Bahria University Islamabad invites bids for the supply of 32 brand new, unused, and genuine 12V, 150Ah Rechargeable Maintenance-Free VRLA Batteries for their 60 KVA UPS system at the H-11 Campus. These batteries are critical for backup power in IT infrastructure and labs, ensuring uninterrupted power supply for essential operations.
Items being procured:
- 32 Nos. 12V, 150Ah Sealed Maintenance-Free Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) AGM technology batteries suitable for UPS/Backup Power System
The batteries must meet detailed technical specifications including minimum 150Ah capacity at C10 rate, sealed construction, low self-discharge, heavy-duty terminals, and compliance with IEC 60896-21/22 standards. They must be compatible with the existing 60 KVA Deutsche Power UPS and have a minimum 12-month warranty from commissioning. Batteries older than one year from manufacturing date will not be accepted unless approved. Refurbished or reconditioned batteries are strictly prohibited.
Bidders must be authorized distributors or provide legitimate supply channel evidence and have at least three years of relevant experience with UPS or industrial batteries. Delivery is required within 14 calendar days from the Purchase Order issuance. Inspection and capacity testing will be conducted before acceptance. Any defective batteries must be replaced at the supplier's cost.
Mandatory qualification documents include valid NTN, STRN/GST registration, company registration, manufacturer authorization, technical datasheets, compliance statements, relevant references, affidavits on authenticity, delivery undertaking, warranty card, and original CDR. Failure to submit original CDR will lead to bid rejection.
Bidders should carefully follow the bid form and schedule of prices as per the tender document. The quoted price must include all taxes, duties, transportation, and delivery charges to Bahria University H-11 Campus.
The submission deadline is **10 days after publication**, and bids must be submitted in sealed hard-copy form including technical and financial bids. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all authenticity and warranty documents are complete and original CDR is attached to avoid disqualification.
This tender offers a valuable opportunity for qualified suppliers to provide high-quality UPS batteries to a prestigious university in Islamabad, supporting critical IT infrastructure and power backup needs.
