Tender Description
The Directorate General Procurement (Army) located near 502 Central Base Workshop EME, Main Adyala Road Rawalpindi, is inviting sealed bids from reputed firms possessing valid NTN certificates for the supply of Data Centre Items. This procurement is conducted under the light of PPRA rules and targets firms capable of supplying 29 distinct items for the establishment of a data centre. The supply period is scheduled between September and December 2026, with delivery expected within 9 to 12 months after contract signing.
The technical scope includes both indigenous and imported items, requiring firms to provide agency agreements or dealership certificates from foreign OEMs for imported goods. Financial capability must be demonstrated through bank statements for the last 12 months and an undertaking appropriate to the tender value. The tender documents can be obtained upon submission of a treasury challan of Rs 2000, CNIC copies of the managing director, NTN certificate, and sales tax registration documents. Firms claiming price preference must submit a list of indigenously produced items and confirm a minimum 20% value addition through indigenization.
Bid security is mandatory and varies based on firm registration status, ranging from 2% to 5% of the quoted value with specified maximum ceilings. Offers must include 100% quantity and remain valid for 120 days from the opening of the financial proposal. Performance guarantees of 10% of the contract value are required within 30 days of contract signing. The bid submission requires two separate envelopes for technical and financial proposals, sealed within a single package.
The last date for collection of tender documents and submission is 1st and 2nd June 2026 respectively, with tender opening scheduled on 2nd June 2026 at 1100 hours in the presence of firm representatives at the tender room of DGP (Army). A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all required documents, especially financial capability proofs and OEM agreements, are complete and submitted timely to avoid disqualification. Strict adherence to the bid security requirements and offer validity is crucial for successful participation.
