Supply and Delivery of Electronic Portable Devices for PRCL

The Pakistan Reinsurance Company Limited (Ministry of Commerce) invites eligible bidders to participate in the procurement of electronic portable devices specifically for PRCL. This procurement is for the supply and delivery of brand-new, genuine, unused, and latest-model electronic portable devices, to be delivered at PRC Towers, Lalazar Drive, M.T. Khan Road, Karachi. The procurement follows the Single Stage-One Envelope procedure using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Items being procured: - IPADS (Tablet computer) quantity 40000 units The devices must meet detailed technical specifications including Apple M5 or equivalent processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB or 256GB storage, Liquid Retina XDR mini-LED LCD display of 12.9 or 13 inches, licensed iPadOS 17.1 or equivalent, and include accessories such as Magic Keyboard and standard carrying case. All devices must be factory sealed, free from defects, and covered by the manufacturer's standard warranty. Bidders must ensure safe packaging, transportation, and delivery within the stipulated delivery schedule as per work order. Inspection and verification by the procuring agency will be conducted, and any defective or non-compliant devices must be replaced at no additional cost. Relevant documentation including delivery challans, invoices, warranty certificates, and user manuals must be provided. Eligibility criteria include valid FBR registration, no blacklisting, no conflict of interest, and compliance with technical specifications. Bidders must have an operational office in Karachi and provide satisfactory performance certificates. Bid security in the form of Pay Order or Bank Guarantee is required. Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS v2.0 by Thursday, October 22, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Manual submissions will not be entertained. The bid opening will be held on the same day at 11:30 AM via EPADS v2.0. Bidders are advised to register on EPADS v2.0 and review all bidding documents carefully. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure timely registration and submission on EPADS v2.0 and prepare all required documents including bid security in original form to be submitted physically before the deadline to avoid disqualification.
