Supply of Fire Fighting Equipment at Shershah Depot

Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) invites quotations for the supply of fire fighting equipment at its Shershah Depot located in Karachi. This procurement is aimed at enhancing the safety and emergency response capabilities of the depot by acquiring high-quality fire fighting materials that meet international standards. Items being procured: - Fire Hoses 2 1/2" X 100' (Qty: 7 units) - Fire Jet & Spray Nozzle 2 1/2" (Qty: 6 units) The fire hoses must be constructed from high-quality synthetic woven jacket with rubber lining (EPDM), equipped with brass couplings, and comply with standards such as NFPA 1961, UL Listed, FM Approved, and BS EN 14540 / BS 6391 or equivalent. They should withstand a minimum working pressure of 16 Bar and burst pressure of 48 Bar. The nozzles are pistol grip type with ergonomic handles, made from high-strength aluminum alloy and impact-resistant plastic or rubber coated grips. They must allow manual flow adjustment with selectable jet, fog, and shut-off functions, compatible with 2.5" instantaneous coupling, and suitable for high-pressure firefighting operations. Suppliers must ensure all materials are fully pressure tested, inspected, and ready for use. The Location Engineer holds the authority to approve or reject any material not meeting specifications. Third-party inspection or testing may be conducted to verify compliance. Payment will be processed based on actual accepted quantities. Strict adherence to PSO's HSE standards and safety rules is mandatory. Delivery must be completed within 30 days of work order acceptance. Delayed delivery will incur a penalty of 0.1% per day up to a maximum of 10% of the total purchase order value.
