Tender Description
The Program Management Unit (PMU) of the Accelerated Action Plan (AAP) for Reduction of Stunting and Malnutrition in Sindh (Fisheries Sector), Karachi, invites sealed bids from firms, companies, suppliers, and sole distributors for the supply of specific fish seed species for the fiscal year 2026-27. This procurement aims to support stocking of fish seed in public water areas of Sindh and demonstration fish ponds/community ponds across Sindh, excluding Manchar Lake, Jamshoro.
Items being procured:
- Labeo rohita (Rahu), not less than 4 inches
- Cirrhinus mrigala (Morakhi), not less than 4 inches
- Catla catla (Thaila), not less than 3 inches
- Hypophthalmichthys molitrix (Silver carp), not less than 4 inches
- Cyprinus Carpio (Gulfam), not less than 4 inches
The bidding process requires firms to purchase bidding documents from the PMU Karachi office upon submission of a written application and non-refundable fee via Call Deposit or Pay Order in the name of the Program Coordinator. Bidders must have valid registration with Income Tax and General Sales Tax (FBR) and provide a security of 5% of the total bid amount in the form of Demand Draft, Call Deposit, or Pay Order favoring the Program Coordinator. The bidding method is a Single Stage One Envelope Procedure, requiring submission of both Technical and Financial Proposals in one envelope.
The supply must be completed within the schedule of the supply order. The Procuring Agency reserves the right to reject or cancel any bid as per SPPRA rules 2010. Rates quoted must include all applicable government taxes. Bids must be submitted in Pakistani Rupees. In case of public holidays, tender opening will be deferred to the next working day.
Key dates include the last date for issuance of tender documents on 01-09-2026 during office hours, and the last date for tender submission on 02-09-2026 before 12:00 noon, with opening of proposals at 12:30 pm the same day.
