Supply, Fixing, Installation & Commissioning of 450KW Grid Tied Solar System at Warehouse, Ojha Campus, DUHS Karachi

The Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS), Karachi invites bids for the supply, fixing, installation, and commissioning of a 450KW Grid Tied Solar System at its Warehouse located at Ojha Campus, Karachi. This procurement is conducted under the Single Stage One Envelope Procedure as per SPPRA Rules 2010 (Amended). The project involves comprehensive supply and installation of solar PV panels, grid-tied inverters, mounting structures, electrical protection equipment, cables, connectors, earthing system, lightning arresters, data logger remote monitoring system, cable trays, UPVC pipes, genset controller, and related civil works. Items being procured: - 450KW High Efficiency N-Type Bifacial Crystalline Solar PV Modules (approx. 720 panels) - 150KW Grid-Tied String Solar Inverters (3 units) - PEB Shed Roof Mounted Mounting Structures - DC and AC Combiner Boxes with breakers and energy meters - DC and AC Cables including grounding cables - MC4 Connectors - Earthing pits and copper rods with accessories - Lightning Arresters - Data Logger and Remote Monitoring System - Cable Trays and UPVC Pipes - Net Metering service and application handling - Fuel Saver Genset Controller System - Accessories and civil works including water distribution and module cleaning services The technical scope includes design and fabrication of mounting structures to withstand wind speeds up to 44 m/s, supply of solar panels with minimum 12 years product warranty and 25 years power warranty, inverters with 5 years standard warranty extendable to 10/15 years, electrical protections compliant with IEC standards, and full integration with existing electrical infrastructure. The system will be installed on the PEB shed roof with optimum tilt angle and includes remote monitoring capabilities with real-time data access. Eligibility criteria require bidders to have valid PEC registration in category C4 or above with relevant electrical and solar energy codes, active FBR registration with ATL status, experience of similar projects with minimum values, and submission of bid security amounting to Rs. 2,000,000. Bidders must provide manufacturer authorization and comply with all technical specifications. The bid submission and opening will be conducted online through the EPADS portal (https://eprocure.gov.pk/). The deadline for bid submission is as per the NIT date, with delivery and installation required within 60 days of contract award. Performance security of 10% of contract value is mandatory.
