Tender Description
The Sindh Institute of Child Health and Neonatology (SICHN), Government of Sindh invites eligible bidders to submit bids for the Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Elevators for its facilities in Mirpurkhas and Shahdadpur. This procurement is for the fiscal year 2026-27 and will be conducted through the Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure under Rule-46 (2). The bidding documents can be obtained upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 5000 deposited in the designated Sindh Bank account.
Items being procured:
- Lot 1: Supply, installation and commissioning of two (2) brand new 2000 kg capacity bed elevators for Mirpurkhas site with 4 stops (G, 1, 2, 3), machine room type, imported components, stainless steel cabin, and full compliance with EN 81-20/50 or equivalent international safety standards.
- Lot 2: Supply, installation and commissioning of one (1) brand new 2000 kg capacity bed elevator for Shahdadpur site with 2 stops (G, 1), similar technical specifications and compliance as Lot 1.
The scope includes supply, loading, unloading, installation, testing, load testing, balancing, commissioning, transit insurance, import clearance, electrical and mechanical safety devices, CCTV, public address system, earthquake sensors, and all allied works. Comprehensive maintenance during a 36-month warranty period is included, with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting services at no extra cost. After warranty, an AMC will be offered.
Eligibility criteria include valid registration with tax authorities, PEC registration in category C-5 or above, OEM authorization, minimum 5 years OEM presence in Pakistan, relevant experience with at least two contracts for similar elevators, and financial turnover requirements. Bidders must submit bid security of 2% of the estimated value per lot (Rs. 1,000,000 for Mirpurkhas and Rs. 500,000 for Shahdadpur).
Key dates: The Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on 17th August 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at SICHN Head Office Karachi. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS by 26th August 2026 at 10:30 a.m. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 11:00 a.m. at the SICHN office in Karachi.
Bidders are advised to carefully follow the bidding instructions, ensure all mandatory documents are included, and submit their best and final prices as no negotiations will be allowed. The Procuring Agency reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per SPPRA rules.
