Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Diesel Generators for Karachi & Shaheed Benazirabad by Sindh Institute of Child Health and Neonatology (SICHN)

The Sindh Institute of Child Health and Neonatology (SICHN), Government of Sindh, invites eligible bidders to participate in the national competitive bidding for the supply, installation, and commissioning of diesel generator sets for its facilities in Karachi and Shaheed Benazirabad. Items being procured: - Lot 1: 500 KVA Diesel Generator Set for Shaheed Benazirabad - Lot 2: 500 KVA Diesel Generator Set for Karachi - Lot 3: 200 KVA Diesel Generator Set for Karachi - Lot 4: 30 KVA Diesel Generator Set for Karachi Central Warehouse Each generator set includes supply, installation, testing, commissioning, acoustic canopy, ATS/AMF panels, power and earthing cables, earthing system, exhaust extension, and operator training. The generators must be prime rated, suitable for continuous operation, and comply with international standards such as ISO 8528, IEC 60034, and ISO 9001. Engine origins preferred are Europe, Japan, or Korea with authorized dealer networks in Pakistan. Warranty of 2 years or 3000 operating hours is required. Technical scope covers heavy-duty fabricated steel base frames, integrated fuel tanks, microprocessor-based control panels with remote monitoring, and full compliance with local climatic conditions. Installation includes civil foundation works, cabling, fuel and exhaust piping, ATS integration, load testing, and final commissioning. Eligibility criteria include valid registration with tax authorities, PEC registration in category C-6 or above, OEM authorization, relevant experience with at least three contracts for similar generator sets, and financial turnover requirements. Bid security of 2% of the estimated cost per lot is mandatory. Key dates: The pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 17 August 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at SICHN Head Office Karachi.
