Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Peter Engine 25 HP with 5" X 4" Water Supply Pump at PMDC Salt Mines Warcha

The Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation Islamabad (PMDC) invites sealed bids from eligible suppliers for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a complete Peter Engine 25 HP along with a 5" X 4" water supply pump setup at PMDC Salt Mines, Warcha, Punjab. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 platform. The tender follows a Single Stage One Envelope procedure with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Items being procured: - Peter Diesel Engine 25 HP suitable for continuous water pumping - Electric self-start system including starter motor, battery, cables, and controls - Heavy duty rechargeable starting battery with battery box and terminals - Battery charging system including one solar PV panel with charge controller and mounting structure - Heavy duty centrifugal water supply pump with 5-inch suction and 4-inch delivery connections - Common heavy duty steel base frame with wheels and outriggers for mobility - Suitable coupling with guard, fuel system, cooling system, and all necessary valves, strainers, fittings, and accessories The technical scope includes supply of new equipment suitable for saline environment, complete installation and commissioning at site, performance testing, and provision of all documentation including datasheets, manuals, and warranty certificates. The supplier must have at least 2 years of relevant experience and provide a minimum one-year warranty against manufacturing defects. The quoted price shall be lump sum and inclusive of all taxes and delivery to PMDC Salt Mines, Warcha. Bidders must submit bids electronically via EPADS v2.0 by 28 October 2026 at 03:00 PM. Original bid security of Rs. 50,000 in the form of pay order or demand draft must be submitted physically to PMDC Head Office, Islamabad before the deadline. Technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 03:30 PM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Eligibility criteria include valid registration with relevant authorities, proof of financial soundness, no litigation or disputes with PMDC, and submission of required documents as per bidding instructions. The contract will be awarded to the lowest evaluated responsive bidder. Payment will be made after satisfactory delivery and commissioning, with security deposit refunded after warranty period.
