Tender Description
The Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement of 50 kVA Distribution Transformers under reference number P155178 for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is planned to be executed through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 platform, ensuring transparency and ease of participation for all registered suppliers. The procurement method adopted is Single Stage One Envelope with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules, 2026.
Items being procured:
- 50 kVA Distribution Transformer (Quantity: 334 units)
The transformers must comply with DDS-84:2020 specifications and possess valid prototype approval. Delivery is scheduled in two batches of 167 units each, to be delivered to QESCO Regional Store, Sheikhmanda Airport Chowk, Quetta within 1 to 60 days and 61 to 120 days respectively. Bidders must be registered with PEPCO/WAPDA or any DISCO/PPMC, have valid sales tax registration, and demonstrate satisfactory past performance in supplying similar transformers. Bid security in the form of Pay Order, Call at Deposit, Bank Guarantee, or Demand Draft is mandatory.
Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Thursday, October 29, 2026 at 10:30 AM. Original bid security must be physically submitted to QESCO HQ, Zarghoon Road, Quetta before the deadline. Technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 11:00 AM through EPADS. Manual submissions will not be accepted.
