Tender Description
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) invites quotations for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a Power Factor Improvement (PFI) Panel at PSO EJHD, Karachi Aviation Station. This procurement is specific to Karachi and involves electrical and mechanical works to improve power factor efficiency at the site.
Items being procured:
- One no. 150 KVAR, floor-mounted, indoor-type automatic Power Factor Improvement Panel with powder-coated 14 SWG sheet steel enclosure including 1 x 400 A TP MCCB 25 KA (adjustable), 1 x 12 Stage PFI Relay, 3 x Current Transformers, 3 x Exhaust Fans, 8 x Branded Filters, 2 x Thermostat Relays, 4 x Control Fuses, multiple power capacitors (50 KVAR, 25 KVAR, 12.5 KVAR, 7.5 KVAR, 5 KVAR), TP Magnetic Contactors, HRC Fuses with Base, On/Off Indication Lights, Push Buttons, and Selector Switches.
- Supply of 2 inches diameter GI Conduit (Medium Gauge) including all bends, tees, sockets, unions.
- Supply of 600/1000 V 3.5 core 95 sq.mm Cu/PVC/PVC grade copper conductor cable.
- Installation services including mounting, alignment, anchoring, integration with existing LT panel, allied cabling and conduiting works.
- Supply of 6 mm thick rubber mat (1m x 1m) placed in front of the panel.
- Installation of 2 inch dia GI conduit including all accessories.
- Laying, handling, testing, and termination of 3.5 core 95 sq.mm copper conductor cable.
- Supply, fixing, and installation of 200 x 100 mm cable tray with all required supports and accessories.
The scope includes provision of all necessary supporting switchgear, wiring terminals, busbar capacity, and ensuring proper space allocation, segregation, and labeling. Contractor must provide shop drawings, single line diagrams, and component lists for PSO approval prior to fabrication. All installation and materials must meet PSO quality standards and be approved by the PSO Head Office team.
Eligibility requires skilled manpower, adherence to HSE policies, provision of PPEs, and a one-year warranty on supplied materials. The contractor must restore the site to original condition post-completion and clear debris. The project completion time is 120 calendar days excluding Sundays and gazetted holidays. Earnest money of Rs. 50,000/- is required.
