Supply of Stationery and Repair of Transport for Communication & Works Department Gilgit-Baltistan

The Communication & Works Department, Government of Gilgit-Baltistan, invites sealed tenders from authorized distributors, suppliers, and well-reputed firms under various categories for the financial year 2026-2027. The procurement is specifically for the city of Gilgit and involves two main categories of supplies and services. Items being procured: - Category A: A03901-Stationery - Category B: A13001-Repair of Transport The tender documents for each category are available at a cost of Rs. 10,000 each. The tender closing and opening dates are both on 4th September 2026, with Category A closing at 11:00 AM and opening at 12:30 AM, and Category B closing at 11:00 PM and opening at 12:30 PM. The call deposit amounts required are Rs. 39,600 for stationery and Rs. 120,000 for transport repair. The scope includes supply of stationery items and repair services for transport vehicles as per the classification heads. Bidders must attach earnest money in the form of demand draft or pay order in the name of DDO, Works Department Gilgit-Baltistan from any scheduled bank. An affidavit on stamp paper of Rs. 100 duly attested by a Magistrate 1st Class is required, confirming the bidder has never been blacklisted by any government or semi-government organization or PPRA. The successful firm/contractor will be bound to supply the items or provide services to the Secretary Works Office until 30th June 2027. The tender will be considered lot-wise, and firms quoting inappropriate or non-responsive rates will be disqualified. Contractors must have their own shop/workshop and a minimum of five years' experience in the relevant field, supported by experience certificates. The procedure of single stage two envelopes will be followed, with evaluation based on a 70/30 formula (70 for technical proposal and 30 for financial proposal).
