Tender Description
The department invites qualified suppliers to submit bids for the supply of UPS units and replacement batteries to support uninterrupted power supply across multiple floors of a facility. This procurement is critical to ensure reliable power backup and operational continuity in the building located at an undisclosed city.
Items being procured:
- UPS 20KVA units: total 14 units distributed across floors 1 to 6
- Replacement batteries 40-AH: total 288 units, 12-Volts 2 Bank, 32 Charging
- Replacement batteries 100-AH: total 32 units, 12-Volts 2 Bank, 32 Charging
The technical scope includes supplying batteries compatible with 12-Volt 2 Bank UPS systems, ensuring quality and durability suitable for continuous charging and power backup. The supplier must provide batteries meeting the specified ampere-hour ratings and voltage requirements.
Eligible bidders should possess relevant PEC categories for electrical goods supply, be registered with FBR and appear on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Experience in supplying UPS and batteries to government or large institutional clients is preferred. Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) or Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) will be required as per tender terms.
Bids must be submitted by the specified closing date to the designated procurement office. Interested bidders should carefully review the tender documents for detailed specifications, terms, and conditions.
A practical tip for bidders: ensure all technical specifications match exactly with the tender requirements to avoid disqualification during the technical evaluation. Proper documentation of previous supply experience and valid tax registration certificates will strengthen your bid.
This tender offers a valuable opportunity for suppliers specializing in electrical backup equipment to engage with a reputed department and contribute to critical infrastructure support.
