Punjab Irrigation Department, Lower Gugera Division LCC East, Faisalabad, invites bids from eligible engineering firms and contractors for the strengthening of weak bank in berm less reach between RD: 165+250 to 168+00/L&R of Lower Gugera Branch. This work is to be executed in District Faisalabad under the 2nd Bi-Annual Market Rate system (1st July 2026 to 31 December 2026) as per PPRA Punjab E-Procurement system and relevant PPRA Rules, 2014 (amended to date). Items being procured: - Strengthening Weak Bank in berm less Reach between RD: 165+250 to 168+00/L&R of Lower Gugera Branch (Estimated Cost: Rs. 6,374,597, Earnest Money/Bid Security @ 2%: Rs. 127,492, Time Limit: 25 days) The technical scope includes civil works for strengthening the canal bank, requiring specialized construction materials and adherence to approved construction drawings and PWD specifications. Only contractors/firms registered with the Punjab E-Procurement System and licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category for the year 2026-27 are eligible to participate. Valid registration with PRA for 2026-27 and compliance with government receipts for professional tax, CNIC, and enlistment/renewal fees are mandatory. Earnest money must be deposited digitally through the Punjab-e-Procurement System (PSID), and manual bid security will not be accepted. Bids must be submitted online by 11.11.2026 up to 02:00 PM. The bid opening will take place on the same day at 02:30 PM at the office of the Executive Engineer, Lower Gugera Division, Faisalabad. All bidders are required to quote their rates against each entry/item of DNIT/BOQs and fill the rate analysis pages completely. Incomplete bids will be considered non-responsive. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Guarantee @10% of the contract amount and execute an agreement within 15 days of acceptance. Payment will be made based on actual work done and clearance by the nominated consultants. Tip: Ensure your PEC registration and PRA certificate for 2026-27 are up to date and upload all required documents digitally, as manual submissions will not be entertained.
