Tender Description
This tender invites contractors to participate in a one-year term contract for artificers works at the GE (Army) Nowshera Sub Division B&R (M). Located in Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the contract involves executing various maintenance and repair tasks as per the MES Schedule of Rates and any attached Special Schedule of Rates. The scope covers skilled artificer services essential for maintaining military infrastructure within the garrison area.
The work requires contractors to manage materials issued from MES store yards and perform tasks such as fixing and repair without involving shuttering or centering, which the contractor must arrange independently. The contract demands adherence to MES regulations and schedules, ensuring quality and timely completion of assigned jobs within the defined boundaries of the garrison area.
Contractors should ensure they meet the relevant PEC categories and maintain an active FBR/ATL status for the financial year 2025-26. Compliance with MES conditions, including submission of Earnest Money and Call Deposit Receipt (CDR), is mandatory. Familiarity with MES General Conditions for Contract (PAFW-2249) and amendments is essential for successful bidding.
The submission deadline is by 1200 hrs on the specified day in 2026, with tenders to be delivered physically to the GE (Army) Nowshera office. All documents must be returned regardless of tender submission. The opening of bids will follow immediately after the deadline at the same location.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the MES Schedule of Rates and any Special Schedule attachments to avoid pricing errors. Also, verify the exact stamp duty and Earnest Money requirements as these are often overlooked, potentially leading to disqualification.
