Tender Description
Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) Multan invites bids for the procurement of various transmission line materials and accessories as part of its Annual Procurement Plan for the financial year 2026-27. This notice is targeted at suppliers and manufacturers specializing in electrical transmission infrastructure, with the procurement intended to support ongoing and upcoming projects in Multan and surrounding areas.

- Addl. Cross Arm for ZM-60 (Qty: 3)
- 220kV EG & EA Type Tower and Extensions (Qty: 1)
- 220kV EG & EA Type Tower Complete (Qty: 1)
- 220kV EA Type Tower Complete (Qty: 1)
- 220kV Leg Extension for EG Type (Qty: 1)
- 132kV Poles without Grounding Bolts & Templates for SPA poles (Qty: 36)
- Bolts & Templates for SPA poles (Qty: 36)
- Bolts without Grounding Bolts & Templates for SPG poles (Qty: 11)

The technical scope includes supply and delivery of high-quality steel towers, poles, nuts, bolts, washers, and templates as per the specifications outlined in the bidding documents. All items must comply with MEPCO and relevant national standards for transmission line hardware. Bidders must be registered with FBR and listed on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Earnest Money/Bid Security is required for each lot, with amounts specified in the notice (e.g., PKR 3,178,000 for Tower Type ZM-60, PKR 261,100 for 220kV towers, PKR 3,047,100 for 132kV poles, PKR 1,005,400 for SPG poles, and PKR 327,680 for SPA type poles).
Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS 2.0 by the deadline of 27 August 2026, 10:00 AM. Manual bids will not be accepted. The opening of bids will take place on the same day at the specified times. All supporting documents, including Bid Security in the form of Deposit-at-Call, Bank Draft, Pay Order, or Bank Guarantee, must be attached as per instructions. The submission address is the office of Chief Engineer (Development), PMU MEPCO Khanewal Road, Multan.
A practical tip: Ensure your bid security is valid for at least 150 days from the opening date and that all documents are uploaded to EPADS 2.0 well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.
