Transportation of Bales for Imported Wheat Scheme Year 2026-27 Punjab

The Punjab Government through the Director General Food / Cane Commissioner invites tenders from eligible and experienced carriage contractors for the transportation of Bardana/Bales/Empty bags for the imported wheat scheme year 2026-27. The work will be carried out from the PR Centres/Districts of the Department to designated points (Qasim/Kemari or Gwader). Rates shall be quoted separately from each centre to each port for one bale of PP bags in PKR inclusive of applicable taxes. The shifting/transportation period will be of 90 days. The quantities and other requirements shall be dealt with in accordance with the applicable PPRA rules amended up to date, transportation policy of the Department and the terms and conditions of the tender and bidding documents. Items being procured: - Transportation of PP Bales from 14 districts including Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan, Kemari/Qasim or Gwader, Khanewal, Multan, Vehari, Lodhran, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, DG Khan, Kasur - Specific bale quantities per district range from 160 to 1225 bales The technical scope includes transportation of bales from district dispatching centres to ports with responsibility for loading, unloading, and delivery receipt at designated receiving points. Contractors must ensure vehicles are roadworthy, properly equipped, and comply with departmental instructions including payment of all applicable taxes and duties. Bidders must submit Technical and Financial bids electronically through the Government of the Punjab e-procurement portal (e-PADS). Earnest Money equal to 3% of the offered contract amount is required in the form of Bid Security/Earnest Money. Bids will be opened on 09-10-2026 at 11:45 AM in the presence of the committee and authorized representatives. Eligibility requires registration on the e-PADS portal, compliance with Punjab Public Procurement Rules 2014 (as amended), and submission of all required documents electronically. The bidding process is strictly electronic and no manual or hard copy bids will be accepted. Bids remain valid for 180 days. The Procuring Agency reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities and revise transportation requirements as per departmental needs.
