Transportation of PASSCO Wheat & Bardana from Different Districts of Sindh to Godowns / PRCs of Karachi Region

The Regional Directorate of Food Karachi Region invites sealed tenders from firms and contractors for the transportation of PASSCO Wheat and Bardana for the FAQ Wheat from various districts of Sindh to all Godowns/PRCs of Karachi for the period up to 28-02-2027. Items being procured: - Transportation of 90,526 M tons from Khairpur - Transportation of 53,359 M tons from Naushehro Feroze - Transportation of 32,172 M tons from Shaheed Benazirabad - Transportation of 31,174 M tons from Sukkur Total quantity: 207,231 M tons The tender forms are available from the Office of the Assistant Accounts Officer (Food), Karachi at Sindh Government Food Godowns SGG-III, Zafar Town Landhi, Karachi, or can be downloaded from the Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority SPPRA e-PADS portal. The tender fee is Rs. 5000/- non-refundable, payable by pay order. Bidders must submit their bids online on the SPPRA e-PADS system. The scope includes loading, unloading, and transportation of wheat and bardana bags with proper stacking inside godowns, ensuring safety measures against weather, theft, pilferage, and accidental damage. The contractor is responsible for all losses or damages during transit and must deliver goods in sealed manner to Karachi. Eligibility criteria include PEC registration, NTN and Sindh Revenue Board certificates, financial turnover of at least Rs. 200 million over the last three years, minimum five years of transportation experience, and proof of daily lifting capacity of 5000 M tons. Contractors must provide performance certificates and no-dues certificates from Food Department regions. Affidavits regarding non-blacklisting and contract obligations are also required. Bid security of Rs. 15 million in the form of call deposit or CDR is mandatory. Bids must be complete and submitted before the deadline of 16-09-2026 at 2:00 PM. Late or incomplete bids will be rejected. The Deputy Director Food Karachi Region reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without liability.
