Transportation, Safe Handling, Shifting and Erection of HT/LT Spun Poles from MEPCO Approved Pole Plant to Site of Work

Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO) invites sealed tenders from approved and registered contractors by Pakistan Engineering Council class A, B, C & D with valid PEC renewal for the financial year 2025-26. The contractors must have field specialization EE 04, EE 05, and CE 10. The tender concerns transportation, safe handling, shifting, and erection of HT/LT spun poles from MEPCO approved pole plant to the site of work covering Shujabad, Sikanderabad, Jalal Pur, and Ali Pur Sadat in Multan district. Items being procured: - LT Spun Poles 31' - HT Spun Poles 36' - HT Spun Poles 45' The scope includes careful transportation and erection of these poles ensuring safety and compliance with MEPCO standards. Contractors must submit original documents and attested copies including CNIC of the contractor or managing partner. The tender amount is Rs. 2.00 Million including all taxes. Earnest money of 2% of the tender amount in the form of call deposit from scheduled banks is mandatory before issuance of tender documents. Performance security of 5% in the shape of CDR is required if the quoted rate is less than 20% of analyzed rates. Eligibility criteria include PEC registration with specified field codes, FBR registration, completion of at least three similar contracts with end user certificates from WAPDA, NTDC, or DISCOs, and demonstration of cash or cash equivalents equal to 40% of contract value supported by bank statements. Income tax returns for the last two years and a performance certificate or no objection certificate are also required. Electronic bids are not permitted. Tender documents can be obtained from the office of Executive Engineer (OP) MEPCO Division Shujabad on payment of Rs. 2000 (non-refundable) from 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM starting 10-08-2026. No tender will be sold on the date of opening. The tender submission deadline is 11-08-2026 at 03:00 PM, with opening at 03:30 PM in the presence of contractors or their authorized representatives.
