The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) invites reputable firms registered with PEC C-A (No Limit) or C-1 with valid specialization codes for Solar Works, along with valid Sindh Electrical Contractor License, SEPA, AEDB or equivalent PPIB enlistment, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications, and possessing their own solar-based testing facility. The project involves the turnkey supply, delivery, testing, and handover of portable solar home system kits specifically designed for deserving and energy-deprived families in Karachi. Items being procured: - Portable Solar Home System Kits The scope includes supply and installation of solar home systems, ensuring quality testing and handover to beneficiaries. Bidders must have sound professional standing in solar home system kits supply and meet all technical and qualification criteria outlined in the bidding documents. The bidding documents are available for download from the EPADS SPPRA portal (https://sindh.eprocure.gov.pk). Eligibility requires PEC registration, relevant licenses, certifications, and a valid contract license. Firms must submit a non-refundable bidding document fee of PKR 5,000 via Pay Order in favor of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation. A scanned copy of the Pay Order must be uploaded on EPADS, while the original must be submitted to the Director Contract Management Wing, Finance & Accounts, KMC, located at 2nd Floor Room No.19, Main KMC Building, M.A. Jinnah Road, Karachi before the bid submission deadline. Bid validity is 90 days from bid opening. Submission deadline is 16/11/2026 up to 03:00 p.m., with bid opening at 03:30 p.m. on the same day. A pre-bid meeting, if required, will be held on 11/11/2026 at 03:00 p.m. at the same office. In case no bids are received, the next submission and opening date is 02/12/2026 at the same time and venue.
