The Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Institute of Trauma (SMBBIT) Karachi invites bids for the procurement of uniform and protective clothing on a framework contract basis for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is intended to supply a comprehensive range of uniforms and protective garments to SMBBIT and its satellite trauma centers across Sindh Province, ensuring quality and timely delivery. Items being procured include: - Gowns (sizes Small to XXL) - Overlap Shirts/Tunics and Anesthesia Trousers for Assistants (Small to Large) - Bed Sheets with hospital logo - Disposable Aprons, Beard Covers, Bed Sheets, Eye Wear Goggles, Shoe Covers - Driver Suites (Small to Large) - ECG Technician Overlap Shirts and Trousers (Small to Large) - Eye Sheets (Green) - Surgical Gowns with tunnel belt - Gray Sheets for Sterilization - Hand Towels - ICU Technician Overlap Shirts and Trousers - Shalwar Kameez with Dupatta for Junior and Senior Staff Nurses (Female) - Junior and Senior Staff Nurse Shirts and Pants (Male) - Lab Coats (Small to Ex-Large) - Macintosh Sheets/Rolls - Mortuary Sheets - Nursing Assistant Shirts and Pants - Orthopedic Patient Gowns and Pajamas (Various sizes) - Orthopedic Patient Suites - OT Technician Overlap Shirts and Trousers - Paeds Suites (Gown + Trouser) - Parachute Gowns - Patient Curtains - Pillow Cases and Fiber Filling - Rexine Covers and Mattresses - Respiratory Therapist Overlap Shirts and Trousers - Scrub Suits for Emergency, CSSD, ICU, IV Pharmacy, Laundry, Neuro Department, and OT - Security Guard Uniforms with accessories - Woolen Blankets - X-Ray Technician Overlap Shirts and Trousers - Ward Boy and Lift Operator Uniforms The technical scope requires compliance with specifications including fabric content, construction, sizes, and presence of the Trauma Logo as detailed in the Bill of Quantities. All items must meet quality standards and be delivered free of charge to SMBBIT Karachi and its satellite centers within one month of the supply order. Liquidated damages apply for delays. Eligibility criteria include registration with EPADS SPPRA, valid NTN and tax certificates, relevant experience with documentary proof, and submission of bid security and tender fee as per SPPRA rules. Bidders must submit samples and sign the Integrity Pact. The bidding procedure is Single Stage One Envelope. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS SPPRA portal before the closing date. Tender fee of Rs. 5,000/- non-refundable in the form of pay order in favor of SMBBIT Karachi must be submitted. Bid security of 5% of total bid price is required. Bidders must sign each page of the bid documents. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure all samples are submitted in commercial packaging at least two days before the bid submission deadline and upload the acknowledged list of samples on EPADS to avoid rejection.
