Tender Description
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) Karachi is procuring an upgrade of Microsoft Exchange Server licenses. This procurement involves supplying Microsoft Exchange Server Enterprise licenses with one year Software Assurance and Exchange Standard Client Access Licenses also with one year Software Assurance. The licenses are to be delivered to PSO House, Khayaban-e-Iqbal, Clifton, Karachi.
The technical scope includes providing 4 units of Exchange Server Enterprise licenses and 2,300 units of Exchange Standard CALs, all with one year Software Assurance. The delivery timeline is strictly within four weeks after issuance of the purchase order. The bidder is responsible for replacement of any defective or faulty licenses within two weeks of delivery at PSO House.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Income Tax Department / FBR and hold a valid NTN/STN. The bidding procedure follows a single stage, two envelope system requiring separate sealed envelopes for Technical Bid and Commercial Bid. Bidders must quote prices in USD, with payment made in PKR as per the State Bank of Pakistan exchange rate on delivery date.
The submission deadline is 06 May 2026 by 2:15 PM at the 2nd Floor PSO House, Khayaban-e-Iqbal, Clifton, Karachi. Earnest Money and CDR requirements are specified in the bidding documents. Bidders should ensure all documents such as partner certificates, MAF, and NTN are authentic to avoid disqualification.
A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare the Technical Bid with all required clarifications and ensure correspondence is only through the nominated representative's email. This helps avoid delays and ensures smooth evaluation. Also, quoting prices clearly for each item separately is crucial for compliance and evaluation.
