Tender Description
This tender invites qualified firms in Karachi to provide comprehensive operations, maintenance, and connectivity services for the Sindh Police's video security and surveillance system across multiple command and control centres including CPO, Civic Centre, and DIG South Office-DR Site. The scope covers 24/7/365 maintenance of hardware, software, connectivity, and civil works at numerous pole sites and data centres, ensuring uninterrupted surveillance and security operations.
The project demands technical expertise in maintaining CCTV cameras from brands like Hikvision, GeoVision, and Vivotek, along with upkeep of data centre infrastructure such as servers, switches, UPS, chillers, and generators. Connectivity maintenance includes fiber optic links with redundancy and minimum bandwidth requirements. The bidder must also provide a complaint management system and ensure backup equipment availability in Karachi. The contract spans one year with possible extension based on performance.
Bidders must hold a valid PEC registration of category C-2 or above, be registered with FBR and Sindh Revenue Board, and possess a PTA license for data services. Compliance with SPPRA 2010 rules and submission of bid security of 5% of the bid amount is mandatory. The tender requires a detailed technical proposal including past project experience, CVs of technical staff, and a comprehensive connectivity plan. Financial bids will only be opened for technically qualified bidders scoring at least 75%.
